Helplines: Mental Health

(Read time: 3 minutes, 32 seconds)

We all have mental health, and it is just as important as our physical health. There is no shame in opening up and seeking help when you need it the most. It is important to share how you are feeling, so if you can talk to someone you trust or reach out to a helpline and share your feelings and get help to work through your current situation. Everyone experiences highs and lows in their mental health, we just don’t open up and talk about it enough! If we do, we will also realise we are not alone in the way we feel.

A key part of supporting and improving our mental health is by keeping connected with others regularly and we have a variety of tools and ideas that you can try to help manage and improve your mental health in the 'wellbeing' section of our resources. However, sometimes it is easier to talk to someone who doesn't know you, or your situation, so we've provided you with a few helplines below you can reach out to.

Remember that just because you aren't at a crisis point, doesn't mean you don't need or can't access support. Your mental health can go through many stages and it's important to lean on the variety of support you have when you need it, even if it feels like something small to you.
