Sophielee, Community Development and Engagement Assistant

Hi, I'm Sophielee (My friends and family call me Slee). I'm so excited to join The Wee Campus as a Community Development and Engagement Assistant.

As a care experienced individual myself, I understand the challenges young people face and am passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive space. I am currently studying Access to Working with Communities at South Lanarkshire College, and I am actively involved in the South Lanarkshire Champions board and The Promise Thematic Group, making sure care experienced young people's voices are heard and advocating for positive change ! :) In this role, I will focus on engaging and connecting care experienced students, ensuring they feel supported and have access to opportunities. I'm so excited to create a space where students feel heard, valued and empowered.
